Marin Hearing Center
Hear So Good Audiology & Hearing Aids, a premiere, centrally located Marin hearing center offers comprehensive hearing care to our neighbors throughout Marin county.
Lee Weissman, Au.D., a Doctor of Audiology and former Medical Device Engineer founded Hear So Good in 2012 to establish a Marin hearing center that uses a scientific approach to selecting and fitting hearing aids. By understanding hearing aid technology, acoustics, and ergonomics from the inside out, Dr. Weissman is able to provide hearing solutions that are effective, reliable and comfortable. He is able to maximize his patient’s benefit from their investment in hearing aids. Dr. Weissman holds the Au.D., a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Many Marin hearing centers limit their focus to only one or two hearing aid manufacturers. It makes their job easier but can limit the options available to you. At Hear So Good, we work with all the best hearing aid brands and maintain our technical expertise across these manufacturers, assuring you have access to the newest technologies and the most appropriate styles and features.
We follow best practices to evaluate your hearing using advanced technologies, listen to your concerns attentively, and zero in precisely on solutions that best address your hearing loss, budget, and lifestyle. We strive to make your time in our office comfortable and informative. The education and counseling we offer will help you to participate in decisions about your care and confidently implement recommended solutions.
Dr. Weissman examines your hearing and asks about the situations most important to you for improved communications. We will discuss the options available and recommend the solution(s) that best meet your needs. Our Marin hearing center offers the widest selection of models in Marin county including Hansaton, Oticon, Phonak, Resound, Rexton, SeboTek, Signia, Sonic Innovations, Starkey, Unitron and Widex.
Beware that some Marin hearing centers will fit you with “locked,” private-label hearing aids. These hearing aids can be adjusted ONLY by the firm from which you obtained the hearing aids. If you decide to go elsewhere or move out of the area, your options will be severely limited and you may have to travel great distances for service or purchase new hearing aids. All the hearing aids that we fit can be adjusted by any provider.
